Try Dives

These take place during our Thursday pool sessions at Chesterton swimming pool between 7:30pm and 9:00pm. If you are interested in experiencing Scuba diving or would like further information please send an email to the training officer (training.officer@cambsac.com).

We start with a quick presentation about the club and cover some simple rules for using Scuba. We then reconvene at the pool side to fit mask and fins and introduce you to an instructor who’ll take you into the pool.

All equipment is provided including mask, fins, snorkel, and scuba gear; all you need to bring is a swimming costume and a towel. We recommend you wear a T-shirt as the jackets can rub a little.

To cover our costs we charge £18 per adult try dive and £12 per child payable in advance by bank transfer. You’ll also need a £1 coin for the lockers which is refundable.

Refresher Dives

Refresher pool dives can be provided for previously qualified divers who are members of the club, at a cost of £30
